Welcome to the Camp Out!

Post by Ranger52899 on Fri Jul 01, 2016 3:16 pm

Come on over, pick a spot in the sun, put your bed roll somewhere safe and feel free to settle in the hot spring and soak or wade in the river and fish - whatever you like to do!

There's a bring and share starting, pick your favourite recipes and give them a try, lots of music to listen to and other bits to join in with, and do start your own threads on anything you'd like to chat about.  Very Happy

Thank you both for allowing us to crash The Hot Springs for the holiday weekend Smile

We promise to leave it in the same state as we found it in....... no matter how exciting things get!!

I shall just pitch my tent and be right with you to make a start on the cooking Smile

What a fantastic way to spend the Canada Day holiday. I'm enjoying the music and definitely a dip in the hot springs will be had before the end of the day!

I'm a stranger here, but just wanted to say that this is a lovely idea. Also strangely serendipitous as I've just hit that very memorable hot springs scene in Three Traders on my re -read today.

Thank you for the invitation. This sounds like a much needed break. I might add that you two are my favorite authors and I love spending time at the ranch!

The author hang out at the chat wrapped up, but the chat room is still open and the camp out activities are playing out over the weekend. Feel free to jump in any of the threads, the more the merrier.

I can't really cook or fish, but brought spuds to bake and sausages to cook over the fire and I think I'm fairly sensible and can be trusted near an open flame without much supervision.
