December 21.  Winter is officially here.

The answer to yesterday's quote is The Twelve Days of Christmas.  Gerry is...a bit ticked.

Today's Guess the Quote:

Many of those men are good men but they have had difficult times and have learned that they have little reason to trust.

The Nevada City Victorian Christmas looks amazing (although probably a bit overwhelming!). I really need to travel soon!

I sort of guessed it was The Willows but hadn’t looked it up yet. Thanks, Cheryl.

Kudos to JL, R & R, and the elves of the Advent Calendar

Post by knox0606 on Fri Dec 21, 2018 8:35 pm

@JL, I am so enjoying the advent calendar. I thought I had read everything R & R wrote.  So I was delighted to see links to some stories  I have never read. All parts of the calendar are great.

Though the format is different this year, the love and spirit is here. If I am not mistaken, @Tarabeth is the mother of the calendar.  @Tarabeth, your spirit is present along with JL's!  I hope you continue to feel better!

@jl, thank you so much and also hats off to your helper elves! santa rendeer jocolor You are doing hero work.  Bravo

And thanks to Ranger daman & Rolf daman for creating the worlds from which all of this springs!

This continues to be one of my favorite holiday traditions! group hug

What kind words, Knox Smile  Thank you.  I'm enjoying doing the calendar this year, but I'll gladly hand the reigns back to Tarabeth next year if she so desires.  Thank you so much for sharing your enjoyment Smile

You’re obviously creative, Know. Maybe you should volunteer to help with next years advent calendar!

Thank you @hayjude.  I am creative, but not tech savvy at all. Emojis are about as advanced as I get. I have great admiration for all the experts here! cheer leader

I have been working on an FCR version of MY FAVORITE THINGS, but I am not yet ready to post. It may be a New Year's entry instead of a Christmas one.

Merry Christmas!
